Miles for Matheny Returns to

We are pleased to announce the 15^th Annual Miles for Matheny and our happy return to Liberty Park in Peapack, New Jersey. 

This fun-packed day brings together our patients, students, family, friends, and the community as we enjoy a day of cycling, running, walking, and camaraderie.

• 5K Road Race- USATF-NJ NBGP 500 event – 300-400 runners will race through the beautiful Somerset Hills “Hunt Country” on town and rural roads in this USATF sanctioned run.
• Lu Huggins Wheelchair Walk – Non-runners and families can enjoy fun and fitness walking alongside130 Matheny children and adults who “wheel” the streets of downtown Peapack to the cheers of the local community and other supporters.
• Cycling Routes – 12, 23, 32, and 50-mile cycling routes through picturesque Somerset Hills designed to accommodate cyclists of all levels. A highly challenging climbing cycle route, “The Hills of Attrition” is well renowned among endurance cyclists.
• Kids Fun Run – Children ages 8 and younger enjoy friendly competition where they all are winners. These smiling children dash across the finish line to the delight of their families who have introduced their children to “running for a cause.”
• Breakfast of Champions and refreshments throughout the Event – Participants and supporters, can enjoy the Friends of Matheny sponsored “Breakfast of Champions” as well as luncheon refreshments in the Park.

All proceeds from Miles for Matheny will benefit Matheny’s Center of Medicine and Dentistry, which provides specialized inpatient medical, dental, and therapy care to our inpatients and people with disabilities living in communities throughout New Jersey.
