Matheny Medical and Educational Center is excited to announce that the 13th Annual Miles for Matheny will be held Sunday, April 18, 2010, at a new venue – Natirar Park! All activities will begin in the 411-acre Somerset County Park Commission property. The celebration picnic following will continue to be held on the hilltop grounds at Matheny. Matheny is also pleased to dedicate the 13th Annual Miles for Matheny to Lu Huggins. Lu Huggins, Matheny trustee emeritus, who died August 13, never let her own debilitating illness keep her from devoting her life to helping others, and created the concept for the Miles for Matheny event thirteen years ago.

Funds raised at Miles for Matheny support the Matheny Center of Medicine and Dentistry, which provides medical, dental and therapy care to Matheny’s inpatients and to people with disabilities in the community. Register today and start fundraising!
